What is 925 silver

Sterling silver, 925 silver or 92.5 silver is a special alloy with a mixture of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% of other material, for Amara we combine silver with memory-shaped alloy. The jewelry is not 100% pure silver because with other 7.5% is used to strengthen and reduce the tarnish rate of the silver.

Why silver turns black

Silver becomes black by the chemical reaction with hydrogen sulfide or sulfur, hydrogen sulfide is in the air and food.
